MPD Responds; Working on a Plan
Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) Inspector Andy Solberg responded to my email to the PSA 102 listserv. He said Commander McGuire attended a meeting with MPD attorneys and the noise issue was brought up. Solberg said the commander didn’t have much to report.
According to Solberg, “MPD is working to craft a policy now to determine what type of response we will utilize on these issues.” He said he wanted to try to get more specifics about a plan for 8th and H.
“Things now are somewhat vague and unclear, and I would prefer to wait a bit and deliver the proper and appropriate response rather than making any missteps initially,” he said.
